The Tokyo 2021 Olympic Badminton Competition will comprise men’s and women’s singles as well as men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
• In Singles, players are divided into 12-16 groups of three to four players each.
• The top-ranked player will move to the next round of 16.
• Players are divided into four round-robin groups of four in the doubles category. From the group, the top-ranked two players will proceed to the quarterfinal matches.
