Olympics Golf Venue at Tokyo 2021
The venue for the Olympics Golf Venue will be held on the East Course of the Kasumigaseki Country Club which is a private club in Saitama 50 Km northwest of Tokyo.
The club was founded in 1929 and in the year 1957 hosted the Golf World Cup, the first time staged event in Japan.
Olympic Golf Competition Format at Tokyo 2021
Both the Men’s and Women’s Golf Tournament at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics will feature 72-hole individual stroke play with over four rounds on four consecutive days.
A total of 60 players will participate in each competition with no halfway elimination or cut.
A three-hole playoff will decide the gold medallists if players in medals places are tied after 72 holes.
